Molecular Cell Biology: Student Companion by David Rintoul
The "Student Companion" contains 26 chapters corresponding to those in the text. Each chapter in this student supplement is broken into five parts. Part A: reviewing basic concepts consists of questions serving as a review of key terms and concepts; Part B: linking concepts and facts presents a variety of multiple-choice questions stressing the interrelatedness of concepts and the more specific details presented in the text; Part C: putting concepts to work consists of short essay questions requiring students to think about concepts in an applied sense; Part D: developing problem-solving skills presents questions designed to sharpen the student's deductive reasoning, experimental technique and problem-solving skills; and Part E: working with research data contains more advanced questions that use experimental data - requiring students to apply what they've learned in the course to research-type problems.
