Jake Stone has always been a loser. Margery, who hasn't washed her hair in a long time for fear of drowning, is his only friend. Jake thinks if he had a double all his troubles would go away--until his cousin Nathan comes to stay. Nathan looks strangely like Jake, but everyone likes him better--even Margery.
