About Debbie Haski-Leventhal

Debbie Haski-Leventhal is Professor of Management at Macquarie Business School and an expert on corporate social responsibility (CSR), responsible management education (RME) and volunteerism. Together with the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education, she conducts international studies on business students around the world and their attitudes towards responsible management. She has published over 50 academic papers on CSR, RME, volunteering and social entrepreneurship in Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, MIT Sloan Management Review, NVSQ and other journals. Her work has been covered many times by the media, including in the New York Times and the Financial Review. She is the author of Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility: Tools and Theories for Responsible Management (SAGE, 2018), with a foreword by David Cooperrider, and of an upcoming book, The Purpose-Driven University (Emerald, 2020). Lonneke Roza, PhD, is an assistant professor at Rotterdam School of Management and specialises in (employee engagement in) impact-first and impact-only strategies to create positive social change, including corporate citizenship. philanthropy and social responsibility. Lonneke teaches courses and conducts training for master's students, MBA students and professionals on social entrepreneurship, (employee engagement in) corporate social responsibility and cross-sector partnerships. As well as her position at the university, Lonneke is a consultant for companies, corporate foundations and charitable organisations and works with (international) platforms, such as the European Venture Philanthropy Association and the RW Institute. She serves on three boards of corporate foundations and on the board of the umbrella organisation for community foundations. Stephen Brammer is a professor and an experienced academic leader, having held senior roles in three research-intensive universities in the United Kingdom (the Universities of Bath, Warwick and Birmingham), before taking up his current role at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. As Executive Dean of Macquarie Business School, he is responsible for the strategic direction of one of Australia's leading centres of business research and education. He is a leading scholar in the fields of business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability. Specifically, his research explores firm-stakeholder relationships, the strategic management of these and the corresponding impacts on company performance and reputation. He continues to serve as an associate editor of the British Journal of Management, as a member of a number of journal editorial boards, and as a member of the scientific committee of the Chartered Association of Business School's Academic Journal Guide.
