Another great book from Debbie Shore. The projects are varied and good for all skill levels. I love the way each step is photographed alongside the instructions as I find it so much easier when I can see what I'm doing. Also the tip feature helps give alternatives to the inspiring makes.

Excellent quality book and illustrations. Sewing kit and 'before you start' sections are explained really well with lots of useful information.
I love the tips for beginners and throughout the book there are handy tips relating to the projects, of which there's a great variety suitable for all levels of ability!

Brilliant for beginners and experienced sewers alike!
I've been sewing for over 50 years but I have still learned several simple tips, just by reading this book, which I did - cover to cover! Simple instructions for attaching eyelets, how to use a continuous zip and piping, to name a few.
There is only 1 template, all the other projects have instructions for cutting out without a pattern even using household items to create curves etc.
Many of the projects are simple to achieve but look professionally made - others are more challenging but the instructions, complete with clear photographs, are easy to follow. Every technique you need to complete the projects, is at your fingertips in the book. Another success for Debbie Shore!

This book is filled with lots of fun things to make for summer with half a yard of outer fabric.
Debbie starts off with tips for beginners and what you need in your sewing kit. Then you get a lot of how to's, such as how to create mitred corners. Always helpful when in doubt.
What I loved about this book was that Debbie explains everything so well. You know exactly what you need, how to cut your fabric before you start a project. Everything is explained step-by-step and there are so many pictures included! That makes it so much easier.
There is something for everyone here, a reading pillow, a tea cosy, a tool apron, and many more. So many cool summer projects!
