Deshan Tennekoon is a physically rickety but mentally limber writer from Sri Lanka. His books for Think Equal are taught in schools around the world and lots of 6-year-olds think they're okay. He wrote for The Bloomsbury Encyclopaedia of Asian Design and is still recovering from the shock of once being a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. 'Podi', a middle-grade graphic novel he co-wrote is forthcoming from Oni Press (2022). His short comics have been published by Image Comics, ShortBox, Inkbrick and in the Eisner and Ignatzwinning anthology Elements: Fire (Beyond Press). He believes in reckless napping as a fine tool for managing his sanity. Linki Brand is a South African children's book illustrator. She completed a BA degree in Graphic Design at the North West University, Potchefstroom. Linki has illustrated numerous children's books (including a few cover designs for young adult literature) that were published by LAPA Publishers - a division of Penguin Random House South Africa. In addition to that she illustrated books for Think Equal (United Kingdom) for their global SEE Learning programme (Social, Emotional, and Ethical Learning). A mini comic strip has also been published by Image Comics Inc. In 2019 I was the sole Graphic Designer for an exhibition compiled by the University of Huddersfield and Leeds Beckett University. Linki is currently living and working in Bergen, Norway with her husband, Werner, and children Fia, Ben and Lukas.
