When the fingerprints of a recent murder victim in New York City turn out to be an exact match for a man who supposedly died thirty years earlier, FBI agent Jack Dolan heads to Montana and the dead man's last known address. Once there, he finds a peaceful little town known for its highly successful fertility clinic and a quaint boardinghouse run by the intriguing Isabella Abbott. As Jack fights the attraction he feels for Isabella, his investigation leads him to uncover some dark truths about this place and its people.
