In Britain since the early 1970s there has been a revival of interest in quiltmaking, stimulated mainly by contact with the American tradition of quilting and patchwork. Increasingly, quiltmakers have wanted to know more about the rich heritage of traditional British wadded quilts. This book explores both the practical and historical aspects of quiltmaking.
