This text is aimed at students studying early chilhood as a component of an academic course, such as P2000 Child Branch, or as a complete course. Aspects of growth, social provision, psychology, nutrition, health and the law are explored in relation to child development. All chapters stress holistic care and discuss major concerns and aspects of research and theory, suggesting strategies where appropriate.
