About Edith Rushton

Edith Annie Whitehouse, always known as Edie, was born in Darlaston, in the heart of the Black Country, in July 1918. Before she married, in 1940, she worked in a factory, as a shorthand typist and in her mother's shop. She lives in Walsall, and this is her first book.
