Two years have passed since the event of Gods in Chaos. Jill Bioskop, the blue-haired journalist, is crazed by the murder of her extra-terrestrial lover and takes refuge in memory-blocking drugs. Meanwhile, Alcide Nikopol has regained his sanity but is haunted by visions of an Egyptian god.
