The text is comprised of 40 chapters. Chapters 1-22 are organized by clinical setting/specialty. Chapters 23-40 provide easy-to-access groups of information (such as Greetings & Common Expressions, Time and Cultural Perspective). Most importantly, the pronunciation that is included for the Spanish words will decrease the anxiety felt when communicating in an unknown language and will enhance evaluation and treatment of Spanish speaking patients.
