About Forward Toby

Toby Forward has worked full time as a children's writer for many years. He is the author of The Wolf's Story, The Globe pop-up book, The Christmas Mouse and The First Day of School and Travelling Backwards. He is currently at work on a children's series for 8-12 year olds, which will be published by Walker Books in 2010. Steve Noon was born in Kent and trained as an artist at college in Cornwall. He has illustrated many children's books with his brilliant and detailed pictures, most notably the award-winning A Street Through Time. Gladiators is his first book for Walker Books.
