Clinical Research in Occupational Therapy by Franklin Stein (University of South Dakota Department of Occupational Therapy Vermillion, South Dakota)
This work is a mentor between covers for occupational therapy students entering the research phase of their educational career. The forest and the trees of selecting, designing and evaluating research is provided in theoretical and practical detail. Students are guided through literature review, protocol development, outcome measure selection and report writing. The vital skill of constructing reliable and valid instruements is honed in a section on developing questionnaires and surveys.
