Electrical and Electronic Principles: v.1 by G. Waterworth
This text provides a complete set of course notes, leaving the students free to spend their time learning and doing. Together with its companion volume, Electrical and Electronic Principles 2, it covers a BTEC module - Electrical and Electronic Principles N (86/239), which forms a foundation in electricity for many National Certificate and diploma engineering students. In approach, it assumes a minimum of background knowledge, starting with an explanation of such fundamentals as SI units, scientific notation, graphs and report writing. The introductory section covers areas assumed as prior knowledge in other textbooks. All technical terms are carefully explained. Many worked examples and problems are provided for practice and self-assessment.
