The author, Annabel Savery, is an experienced children's writer and editor. She has written both puzzle and activity books as well as fiction. She lives in the United Kingdom.

The illustrator, Gabriele Tafuni, is a graduate of IED (the European Institute of Design) and lives in Alba, a small Italian town famous for white truffles. He particularly loves drawing animals. His clients include Parragon Books, Macmillan Publishers and Montadori.
