Stinking Thinking describes the most common beliefs and attitudes that can eventually lead to a relapse to alcohol or drug use. We can learn to:

- compare relapse symptoms to recovery symptoms
- assess our thoughts and attitudes regularly
- challenge stinking thinking with the three methods described
