Douglas Palmer is a renowned science writer and lecturer. He is the author of a number of best-selling books on archaeology, evolution, fossils and pre-history. His most famous publication is DK's Earth, which has sold over 20,000 copies. Dr Nicholas James DipEA, MA, PhD is a consultant in the management and interpretation of historical resources. He has carried out research on the archaeology and social anthropology of Mexico and Guatemala over the course of 25 years.
