A study investigating the experience of young women who become pregnant while of school age and decide to keep their babies. A review of the literature concludes that negative images of young mothers predominate. The group of young mothers studied have more diverse experiences than normally represented. Contains chapters on becoming pregnant and making a decision,the experience and long term consequences of motherhood, family reactions, the baby's father and services available for school-age mothers.
