The book is organised by county or region and each chapter opens with a detailed description of the course or the courses that are rated the very best in the county. The other courses in the county are then listed with star ratings. Each entry has full contact details for the course, prices per round and per day along with a description of the facilities at the course - dining room, bar, accommodation and so on. In addition each entry is accompanied by a sample of reader's opinions of the course. The editors also include their own listings such as World's top 100 courses, best courses for dining etc.
