An story about the muddle a little girl gets into when she tries to take over running the house. One Saturday morning Mum feels sick and has to stay in bed. Then Dad goes out to the shops, leaving Abby in charge of the house and the baby. She thinks she can cope, but when the baby starts to yell and the washing machine makes a terrible noise and the jelly won't set, she starts to have second thoughts!
