Hardwear Summary

Hardwear: Jewelry from a Toolbox by Hannah Rogge

In this innovative book, author Hannah Rogge presents 24 easy-to-make jewellery projects, all of which are made with inexpensive, everyday hardware: necklaces, bracelets, and earrings crafted from nuts, metal washers, hanging wire, nylon rope, colored string, rubber sheeting, rubber tubing, small cable, etc. Mimicking an actual toolbox, the book is rectangular in shape, and a metallic finish is used on the cover and brown "raw" cardboard divides the chapters to give it an industrial look. Like the aisles of an actual hardware shop, the book is divided into chapters according to specific pieces of hardware they employ.
