About Harry Benson

Photojournalist Harry Benson began working for Life magazine in 1967 and continued to work for the magazine until it closed. He subsequently worked for People magazine, shooting over 100 of its covers. He has also worked for Vanity Fair, GQ, and the New Yorker. Benson has published numerous books, including Abrams' Harry Benson: 50 Years in Pictures (2001), The President & Mrs. Reagan (2003), and Once there was a way: Photographs of the Beatles (2003). He has won numerous awards for his work, and has been the subject of many exhibitions. He lives in New York City with his wife, Gigi, and his two daughters.
