About Hugh Lupton
Hugh Lupton's prestigious career as a professional storyteller spans almost twenty tears. In 1985 he co-founded the acclaimed 'Company of Storytellers' and has since performed throughout the world. His previous work with Barefoot Books includes the award winning Tales of Wisdom and Wonder (1998), Freaky Tales From Far and Wide (1999) and more recently The Songs of Birds (2000). Hugh lives in East Anglia. Sophie Fatus graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Paris in 1980 and has since become a full-time illustrator and sculptress. Her brightly coloured, quirkly illustrations have been exhibited in many European Countries, and her three dimensional works can be seen in the Musee du Cirque in Paris. Sophie now lives in Florence with her husband and cat.
