About Ian Searle

Ian Searle began writing crime fiction in his eighties, well into retirement. His working life was spent largely in teaching and included several years in the Solomon Islands in the 1960s. Born in West Sussex, he has lived and worked in many parts of the UK. He is a widower and lives alone in Cornwall. Failing eyesight and mobility restrict his activities which include correspondence with many friends.
