About Isabella Tree

Isabella Tree was born in 1964 and studied classics at London University. An accomplished traveller and freelance journalist, she writes for The Guardian and the Sunday Telegraph, amongst many others. She has written two other books, Sliced Iguana (Hamish Hamilton) and Islands in the Clouds (Lonely Planet).
