The Work-related Curriculum: Challenging the Vocational Imperative by J. J. Wellington
This study surveys the work-related curriculum and the notion that education and schooling should somehow be related to the world of work and the needs of employers. It concentrates on some of the initiatives of the 1980s and 1990s, looks at how they relate and whether they have been planned. It goes on to ask whether education can meet the needs of industry. Finally, the author examines how education should respond to changing patterns in industry in the future.
