Andy Zorn, a gifted Chicago doctor sued for malpractice, takes on an administrative position for a real-estate firm; but, leaving town one day, he witnesses an accident involving a young woman. After rushing her to a doctor, he is advised to disappear in order to avoid further malpractice charges.
