About Janet Mary Tomson

Janet Mary Tomson was born on the Isle of Wight. She later joined the Foreign Office and lived in Geneva and Brussels before completing a year of psychiatric nursing in Edinburgh. She has now returned to the Isle of Wight where she lives with her husband and writes full-time. Her previous novels, also published by Robert Hale, include The Duchess and the Doxy, The Summer of Silence and The Midwillow Martyrs.
