A community of artisans is thriving throughout the South, from central hubs in Nashville, Asheville and Charleston to the countryside. Photographer Jennifer Causey captures this moment--documenting twenty-five of the South's celebrated craftspeople. Beautiful, full-colour images showcase each artist's space and, perhaps most importantly, process and interviews reveal the inspiration behind the work as well as thoughts on the place where it's created. Featured makers include leatherworkers, denim makers, jewelers, ceramicists, brewers, bakers, farmers and more. The thoughtfully curated collection provides a glimpse into the handmade South.
