Historical anecdotes attached to each interior point out the architectural and design interest of each photograph. Joe Friedman is a freelance architectural historian and consultant, specializing in the restoration of historic interiors, who is currently working on the refurbishment of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor's house in Paris. His first book was "Inside London".
