On a Hill Too Far away Summary

On a Hill Too Far away: Putting the Cross Back into the Center of Our Lives by John Fischer

The Cross is More Than a Symbol John Fischer believes Christians are in danger of forgetting the power and passion of the gospel. Using the powerful image of a 5-foot cross bolted in front of the platform of a small Conneticut church, Fischer explores the centrality of the cross to a Christian's faith for all time, as well as the tragedy of the cross's apparent abscence in contemporary Christianity.
