About John P. Allegrante

John P. Allegrante is professor of health education in the Department of Health and Behavior Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University, and in the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. He is also president and CEO of the National Center for Health Education in New York City. David A. Sleet is associate director for science in the Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta.
