About John Stott

John R. W. Stott (1921-2011) was known worldwide as a preacher, evangelist and communicator of Scripture. His best-selling books are Basic Christianity and The Cross of Christ, along with his eight volumes in The Bible Speaks Today series of New Testament expositions. Stott was honored by Time magazine in 2005 as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Douglas Connelly (MDiv and MTh, Grace Theological Seminary) is currently interim pastor at Davison Missionary Church near Flint, Michigan. A writer and speaker, he has written seventeen LifeGuide Bible Studies as well as several books.
