Wrath of N'kai Summary

Wrath of N'kai: An Arkham Horror Novel by Josh Reynolds

The first in a new range of novels of eldritch adventure from the wildly popular Arkham Horror; an international thief of esoteric artifacts stumbles onto a nightmarish cult in 1920s New England.

Countess Alessandra Zorzi, international adventurer and thief, arrives in Arkham pursuing an ancient body freshly exhumed from a mound in Oklahoma, of curious provenance and peculiar characteristics. But before she can steal it, another party beats her to it. During the resulting gunfight at the Miskatonic Museum, the countess makes eye contact with the petrified corpse and begins an adventure of discovery outside her wildest experiences. Now, caught between her mysterious client, the police, and a society of necrophagic connoisseurs, she finds herself on the trail of a resurrected mummy as well as the star-born terror gestating within it.

Wrath of N'kai Reviews

Reynolds brings Arkham to life with the towns' rich atmosphere and skillfully crafted cast of characters. Wrath of N'Kai truly feels like a game of Arkham Horror in page form and any fan of occult horror would be happy to have this in their collection. -- The Great Old Ones Gaming, on Wrath of N'kai
A deftly crafted fantasy fiction set in the literary world of H P Lovecraft. Highly recommended. -- Midwest Book Review, on Wrath of N'kai
Wrath of N'Kai is yet more evidence, were it needed, that Reynolds is the reigning master of the occult detective genre. There is no-one who does it better, and Wrath of N'Kai should take pride of place in anyone's occult horror collection. -- SciFi and Fantasy Reviewer, on Wrath of N'kai
A great and engaging story that tells a new tale of the cthulhu mythos whilst dropping in a few famous faces. Wrath of N'kai is an excellent book to kickstart this new series which, if this entry is anything to go by, is going to be a big hit with fans both old and new. -- Mass Movement, on Wrath of N'kai
