Clinical Practice in Correctional Medicine is intended to provide guidance for clinical staff working in correctional facilities. While standards do exist that provide the minimum requirements necessary to operate a medical service, they are more administrative than clinical in nature. This text fills a void by providing physicians and other clinical staff with information on how to practice medicine in a correctional environment.
