About K. Gillan

KEVIN GILLAN Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Manchester, UK. He has spent the last six years carrying out detailed research on the politics of protest against globalization and war.

JENNY PICKERILL is Senior Lecturer in Human Geography at Leicester University, UK. She has written a bookentitled Cyberprotest and several articles and book chapters on the use of internet technologies for activism.

FRANK WEBSTER is Professor of Sociology at City University London, UK. He has published more than 20 books.
