Change Has Come Summary

Change Has Come: An Artist Celebrates Our American Spirit by Kadir Nelson

One of the most celebrated artists working today visually captures a joyous moment in our history-how people felt upon hearing that Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States. Beautiful renderings of pivotal moments - public and private - seas of faces in crowds at rallies as well as the joyful, tearful, hopeful cheers of young children in schools the next day across America and the world, and people who have a living memory of the rough days before the civil rights movement began in earnest and have lived to see an African American become The New President.
