"After the Aspects" gives Genjyo Sanzo the mission of stopping a mysterious wave of energy that has afflicted the once peaceful race of Youkai with madness, the Buddhist priest assembles a team of the only three Youkai warriors who have not been affected by the energy: Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai. Determined to find out the cause of the recent crisis, this team of rogues heads west, knowing that the energy wave was unleashed from within the Indian borders. However, the journey will not be an easy one. Sanzo's unlikely team will find itself tested by two devastating Youkai assassins. However, the greater mystery is why the killers were dispatched.
