About Kiran Lyall

Kiran Lyall is a Panjabi language tutor, children's book author and puzzle creator. Encouraged by her love of the Panjabi language and culture, Kiran has developed a series of books which highlight both, including the Have Fun With Panjabi series, My First Panjabi Alphabet and The Vidya Reading Scheme. Her fiction books include Ria and Raj and the Gigantic Diwali Surprise. Kiran also loves to write plays and songs, both in Panjabi and English, which are brought to life in her Panjabi lessons, Funjabi Tuition. Over the past two years, Kiran has developed her own unique curriculum in which she teaches children to speak, read and write Panjabi through drama, music, games and books. Outside of the classroom, you will find Kiran conjuring up her own language brainteasers and puzzles, which she shares weekly on her social media platforms.
