The story of Revolving Jones, conceived on a church pew on Armistice Night 1918 and brought up by his Auntie Blod and Uncle Griff in Barry, South Wales, his mother being too busy with her own affairs. His travels take him to the Spanish Civil War, the Far East and elsewhere, and back to Barry.
