Lois Walpole shows how to create a delightfully stylish and brightly coloured selection of baskets, bowls and containers using household 'waste'. Newspapers can be painted, twisted and woven into bins and baskets; plastic bottles make excellent pencil holders; tins, bottle tops and wire can be formed into bowls.

Some of the ideas in this book must have been thought up by a genius! It is full of innovative ideas in three different colourful sections...The ideas use all sorts of easilu obtainable waste materials ranging from old juice cartons, to corks and bottle tops. There is a really good gallery at the end of every section giving more ideas and good pictures of all the items you can make so you can see exactly what the item should turn out like.
