TIMES OF TIME CL by Luigi Boscolo
Time may be experienced in different ways by different persons, groups and even by the same person in different moments, thus we can distinguish individual time, family time, social time, cultural time, and so on. Focusing on the concept of time as a metaphor with a central position in therapy and consultation, the authors use case histories to introduce new ideas and therapeutic strategies. They explore the harmony or dissonance among family members' time perspectives, the therapeutic use of time within and between sessions, and the consideration of the self-reflective loop that encompasses past, present and future.
