Mark Anderson has directed numerous documentaries for the BBC and ITV, including Marek (winner of an EMMY in 1975), Circuit Eleven Miami (winner of the BAFTA Award for Best Documentary Series, 1980) and Apartheid (winner of the Broadcasting Press Guild Award, 1987).
