The Supervisor and On-the-job Training by Martin M. Broadwell

The Supervisor and On-the-Job Training is a new, expanded edition of a unique training book that takes a fresh look at some of the training issues and skills most pertinent to todays workplace. Martin M. Broadwell, recognized as the Father of Training after 20 years of outstanding service to the University of Michigans Executive Management Center, distills his many years of training experience to help you give accurate and effective on-the-job (OJT) training to the employees under your supervision. This fourth edition includes more examples with updated information on the actual steps of doing OJT, as well as more details on training new employees before they learn bad habits, designing follow-up training, analyzing jobs step-by-step, determining objectives, and combining OJT with Total Quality Management. Broadwells emphasis throughout this revision is on new, practical how-to information, and the completely revised chapter on How to Do On-the-Job-Training represents the effects of years of new input since the previous edition was published in 1986.
