DING DONG! When a gorilla pays a visit, it's not long before mischief and mayhem ensue!

Ding Dong Gorilla Summary

Ding Dong Gorilla by Michelle Robinson

Oh, look! There's a gorilla on the doorstep! He may look fierce, but all he wants to do is play football, or watch a film or make a cake . . . which results in one monstrous MESS!

So what would you do if a big beastie rang your doorbell?

Michelle Robinson's fabulously funny text is matched by Leonie Lord's bright and feisty art style to create a book with BIG impact.

About Michelle Robinson

Not too long ago, when she wasn't writing funny stories for children, Michelle Robinson was writing copy and devising websites for some of the world's biggest brands. Right now she is either busy writing, busy thinking about writing, or busy chasing a toddler.

She always dreamed of becoming an author like her hero, Roald Dahl. She shares his birthday and his love of chocolate, but she is much, much shorter.

Michelle lives in Frome, Somerset, with her husband, young son and baby daughter.

Leonie Lord studied Illustration at Central St Martins College, London. After graduating, she produced regular editorial work for newspapers but she discovered her love of illustrating children's books after starting a family. The Dirty Great Dinosaur was her first illustrated book for children followed by its sequel The Super Swooper Dinosaur (both by Martin Waddell). Leonie's adorable character Whiffy Wilson (written by Caryl Hart) tells the tale of a stinky wolf who learns that grime is a crime. Leonie lives just outside Cheltenham with her husband and two children.
