About Mignonne Gunasekara

Born in Sri Lanka, Mignonne Gunasekara has always been drawn to stories, whether they are told through literature, film or music. An avid reader since childhood, she had several pieces of writing published in her school's magazine, Riverline, which she later became an editor for. After studying Biomedical Science at King's College London, Mignonne completed a short course in screenwriting at the National Centre for Writing in Norwich. Danielle Webster-Jones is an illustrator and graphic designer living in Norfolk, UK. Danielle's love of drawing started at a very early age. Her first major illustration was created with permanent markers on the kitchen floor - much to her parents dismay! Thankfully, Danielle moved on to more appropriate surfaces and graduated from the University of Northampton with a first class honours in Fine Art. In 2009 she was selected to feature in the 'Discovered Graduates' exhibition at the Albemarle Gallery in Mayfair, London. Danielle has illustrated several titles for BookLife Publishing where her fun, playful style is guaranteed to keep children amused and engaged. She is also one of the main creative designers at BookLife Publishing having produced numerous top-selling series across the diverse educational range that BookLife are renowned for.
