About Moyra Williams

Moyra Williams, a clinical psychologist and former research scientist, was an active and enquiring horsewoman, well known as a breeder of show-jumpers and a competitor in various disciplines. She was the founding Chairman of the Equine Behaviour Forum, a voluntary organization that exists to advance the sympathetic management of equines by promoting a better understanding of the horse's mind. She is also the author of Understanding Nervousness in Horse and Rider also published by J.A. Allen.
