About Nancy Bateman
Nancy Bateman, RN, BSN, has 37 years of experience as an RN and 23 years of concurrent peri-operative experience. She has an extensive national and international background in process improvement, non-labor savings, and operating room redesign. She is currently Managing Director of Navigant Healthcare Supply Chain and Peri-Operative Practice, specializing in clinical operations, supply chain operations, physician engagement, surgical services, emergency room and critical care redesign, and resource management. Ms. Bateman has successfully managed teams in the implementation of supply cost initiatives and performed and managed engagements for productivity and process improvement. She also founded and managed her own product research and development corporation in which she took several of her own product ideas from inception to marketplace. She has three patents on her product ideas. Ms. Bateman has been a speaker for National Nurses in Business, HFMA, and World Congress, and has been featured in several publications including California Nursing Review and The Wall Street Journal.
