About Nancy Oestreich Lurie

Nancy Oestreich Lurie's many books include Mountain Wolf Woman and, with co-author Stuart Levine, The American Indian Today. She is curator emerita of anthropology at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Francis Paul Prucha, S.J., is professor emeritus of history at Marquette University and has written many books, including The Great Father, Broadax and Bayonet, and American Indian Treaties.
