Each of the five new publications in the "Oxford-Duden Pictorial Dictionary" series identifies 29,000 objects by means of numbered illustrations, offering at a glance their names in both languages. This edition has been revised to reflect the most up-to-date changes in technical and everyday vocabulary, and offers even wider coverage of all major fields of reference. Over 1500 new items have been added, relating to such diverse fields as photography, typesetting, personal communications and transport. The subjects are organized thematically, enabling the user to grasp the entire vocabulary relevant to a given situation - with every item indexed in both languages.
